in this tutorial i will explain how to change Wireless password of Thomson ADSL modem

first step is to login to your modem via web browser example firefox or chrome or dummy web browser IE, type in the address field http://192.168.1.254 or in some cases for old modems http://192.168.1.1
the browser will definitely request a username and a password by default username and password are user user
after you login you have to click on the wireless interface icon
then click on configure just as in the picture
finally chose wpa-psk encryption type as it is more secure and set the new password
then press apply

D-link default IP is: 192.168.1.1
Default username: user
Default password: user

this should work if you didn't change them before.

Dear khalil, please note that for thomson modems, the default username is Administrator and the password is blank, i.e. NO password. and that you can access the Thomson's page without entering username or password.
